It’s Time to Shine!

The 3rd HBBG Conference will be held at the Westin Nova Scotian, May 24 – 27, 2025.
Due to popular demand we have added another day of presentations to the conference!

The Handcrafted Bath & Body Guild is once again bringing back the best of the best soap conference to Canada.

Expect a completely packed schedule with classes and presentations during the day and special events in the evening. Breakfast and both morning and afternoon snacks every day are included. Lunch is included on two days, and as well as dinner on Sunday and Monday.

· Education: Attend a variety of workshops, hear from industry experts during our interactive panel & develop your skills and grow your business. Perhaps you want to learn how to make new products to add to your line or build on your existing techniques, maybe you want to build your business strategies or learn about regulations. With many workshops to choose from you will have access to some of our industries best!
· Networking: Meet likeminded makers from across the country. Catch up with old friends and finally meet with all your social media connections face to face to make new friends!

· Supplier Pop-Up Shops: meet your favourite vendor members & discover new ones at our pop-up shopping area! Get a chance to sniff those fragrances you’re dying to try before buying, find out who has the perfect molds or tools & supplies you’ve always been looking for or never knew existed! The pop-up shopping area will be open throughout the conference giving you plenty of time to visit each one without missing any of the workshops.

What’s included:
Your attendance fee includes full access to the conference including reception & Speakers Panel, breakfast, lunch & breaks as well as dinners. There will be many workshops to choose from with details of each sent to attendees in advance so you can plan your time.

Registration DOES NOT include:

  • Guestrooms at the Westin Nova Scotian. (However, attendees ARE entitled to a discounted room rate.)
  • Ground transportation to and from the hotel.
  • Any meals outside of those outlined in the conference schedule.

Guests

If you want to bring a guest with you who won’t be attending the conference but wants to join you for meals, you may purchase a guest meal ticket. The cost is $375.00 and covers all meals, the Awards Dinner and any special parties.

Associates

A member may bring up to 4 associates (family members, business partners, staff, etc.) to the conference under his/her member number and take advantage of the member rate for the associates.

Exhibitors

Exhibitor space is available for vendors and suppliers who offer products and/or services to the industry. Throughout the conference, plenty of time is set aside for attendees to visit the Exhibitor Hall. If you are interested in being an Exhibitor at our conference, email us at conference@hbbg.ca, and we will send you a Vendor Package. Opportunities for sponsorship and advertising in our Conference Program will be available soon as well. Please indicate in your email if you are also interested in more information about that.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds unless the event is cancelled by decision of the Directors of the HBBG or the hotel. Should you purchase attendance your registration is fully transferable to another attendee. To do that you must email the guild at conference@hbbg.ca identifying the full name of the person you have transferred to so that we can change the attendee records.
