Hello! I'm in the process of figuring out what needs to be relabelled because of the recent allergen labelling requirement changes, and I'm a bit stumped by lip balms. When I go to suppliers—and these are ones that are very thorough with soap fragrance oils—I am getting a statement like "these are food-grade flavour oils" that seem to side-step the allergen question altogether. Does that mean that these kinds of things wouldn't be in lip balm flavour oils at all? Or should I be chasing this down further? I feel like there must be others having this experience, too. Thanks in advance to anyone who has insight into this!

Hi! I have been making cold process soap for a few years now. I also make candles. I've dabbled in lip balms. I really want to learn how to make lotions, but i want to do it with a science-based approach. Are there any training programs that could be recommended? I've seen a lot of online courses and programs , but i am not sure which ones might be legit. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
